Welcome, Ikram Sabah !
What was planned as a simple educational visit to KISB at Ikram Park by its sister company, Ikram Sabah Sdn Bhd turned out to be more than just a learning experience for the 60-staff delegation.
Headed by the company´s General Manager, Mr. Hiew Vun Hen, the group of geologists, engineers and project managers from the "land beneath the wind" arrived at Ikram Park at about 10.30 a.m., transferred from the airport by two chartered buses.
Upon their arrival, they were greeted and welcomed by the KISB management staff. The friendliness of the Sabahans and the hospitality of the host warmed the ceremony and turned it into a relaxed occasion. The ceremony included a presentation via a sharing session by Y. Bhg Dato´ Chong.
After a small feast, the delegates were then taken on a guided tour around the 100-acre Ikram Park for a better understanding of the Group. The tour included a stop at the project site of Unipark Condominium, the Group´s maiden property project. The team was also briefed on the technical aspects on some of the projects taken by Protasco Group at the Material, Pavement and Geotechnical Labs.
As the guests had flown in all the way from Borneo, the host had arranged for them a special visit to the garden city of Putrajaya before adjourning to Kuala Lumpur for a short tour.
A special dinner function followed suit to commemorate the visit. The dinner took place at a chic dining venue located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Rose petals, aromatic candles and centerpieces adorned the dining area, creating a relaxing ambience specially catered to welcome the guests. After indulging on fusion delicacies and barbeque spread the guests then sang their hearts out with a karaoke. They serenaded the crowd with various evergreens and hit songs.
To mark the end of the trip, Mr. Hiew thanked KISB for their warmth and hospitality. A token of appreciation was presented to Dato´ Chong on behalf of Kumpulan Ikram Sabah.
