| KISB RECEIVES DELEGATION FROM FORENSIC DIVISION, PUTRAJAYA |

KISB received a delegation from the Forensic Engineering Division on 13 May 2008. The division is newly formed under the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Putrajaya. Eight-member delegation that was headed by Encik Mohd Zahari bin Hitam, comprised of three other Head Sections and four engineers. The visit?s objectives was to understand more about the services provided by KISB and to exchange information and share knowledge sharing between the two establishments. Upon arrival, the delegation were ushered to the KISB? Corporate Office?s Board Room where they were welcomed and presented with brief introductions of some of the services offered by some of KISB ?s company. Tuan Haji Ghani Shaaban, started of with his brief presentation on the Engineering services provided by KISB, followed by Tuan Haji Yahya Ahmad who delivered his presentation on Itidi?s training aspects and services as well as some issues and cases handled and resolve. The final presenter, En. Mat Zin, explained on the company?s specialities in providing solutions and facilities that were related to road pavement. After the presentations an in-depth Q&A session and a light refreshment, the group was then brought for a tour around Ikram Park to visit a few of KISB?s labs for a comprehensive understanding on the Forensic activities done by KISB. Amongst the labs that they visited were Material, Pavement and Geothecnical labs. The event ended as per scheduled and the delegation conveyed their warm gratitude for the hospitality and they are looking forward to engage in further collaborations with KISB. |
