ESQ TRAINING
During the holy month of Ramadhan, 171 participants from Kumpulan Ikram Group and 20 HCM Group staff (a total of 191 staff), including two non-Muslim staff who requested to be included, underwent a unique spiritual experience.

It was an enjoyable moment packed with fun activities as 508 Kumpulan Ikram staff and their families gathered at the field of Ikram Park to fete a grand celebration of the company?s Family Day on Saturday 28 June 2008.
IFTAR PERDANA
It was a traditional occasion, one that was organized year after year in Ikram Park. The occasion is none other than the annual acute;Iftar Perdana?, where all citizens of Protasco Berhad as well as students of KLIUC, regardless of race or religion, come together to " break fast" with their Muslim friends, in the spirit of Ramadhan.
KISB RECEIVES DELEGATION FROM FORENSIC DIVISION, PUTRAJAYA
KISB received a delegation from the Forensic Engineering Division on 13 May 2008. The division is newly formed under the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Putrajaya. Eight-member delegation that was headed by Encik Mohd Zahari bin Hitam, comprised of three other Head Sections and four engineers. The visit?s objectives was to understand more about the services provided by KISB and to exchange information and share knowledge sharing between the two establishments.

Putrajaya, 8 May 2008 - The Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato? Sri Mohd. Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak officiated the International Conference on Infrastructure Development at the Marriott Hotel, Putrajaya held recently. The event took place from 7th - 9th May 2008 and was organized by the Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College (KLIUC) with the support of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Malaysia and UEM World Berhad.
Ikram Skills and Retraining Academy Launched
Kumpulan Ikram introduced its latest training arm, Ikram Skills and Retraining Academy or better known as ISRA. ISRA?s logo was unveiled to the guests during the launching ceremony. ISRA is wholly-owned by Ikram Skills Academy Sdn Bhd, a 51% subsidiary of Ikram Latihan Sdn Bhd.
Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia Visit
Kumpulan Ikram Sdn Bhd (KISB) received a group of delegation from the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (JPS) on 14 February 2008. Tuan Haji Juhaimai Jusoh, Assistant Director of JPS, lead a group of 34 staff to do a technical visit at KISB. They are also interested to know more about services provided by KISB and its subsidiaries.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE WORKS FOR AFRICAN COUNTRIES
ITIDI has launched the commencement of its second term of International course on Road Construction and Maintenance Works for African Countries recently. The ceremony was officiated by Y. Bhg. Datuk Ir. Hamzah Hassan, Chief Executive of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and Y. Bhg Tan Sri Dato? Othman Bin Md Rijal, as the representative from ITIDI. This course is fully-funded and supported by Malaysian government.
